Satan Will Be Crushed!

Romans 16:20 gives us a great promise. It is a promise with a time table. The Apostle Paul was closing his epistle to the Romans and he was reminding them of the promise of God. Paul declared: "The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you."

The promise is, "the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet." The timetable is: "soon." Isn't this great? Isn't this encouraging? Saint of God, hold on! Keep being faithful! Keep marching forward. Do not retreat! Do not give in! Do not surrender to the fears within or the fighting's without. God is going to crush Satan under your feet! What a great promise! And it will be sooner rather than later.

The God of peace shall do this! This reminds me of one of the titles of Jesus as "Prince of peace." Isn't it great to know that God is going to do this and it is not left up to us to do? It is God's responsibility to crush Satan under our feet and it is our duty to walk on him. Praise the Lord! Walk with your head high. Hold your shoulders back; for God will crush Satan under your feet!
